Cricket for a Cause
Nium views sports as an important enabler of sustainable development. We strongly believe that sports promote tolerance and respect, and makes positive contributions towards empowering women, youth and less-privileged communities.
Nium “Changemakers” Charity Match
Nium hosted an exclusive charity cricket match at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on 11 November 2022 to benefit two standout charities: Red Dust, a local Australian initiative inspiring positive change in remote indigenous communities throughout Australia, and Bat for a Chance, a registered nonprofit that provides cricket equipment to underprivileged children around the world.
2021 – Nium – Al Fardan Charity Match
Sport transcends borders, and so does the love of cricket. Nium and Al Fardan Exchange raised AED 100,000 for the charity Dubai Cares through a charity cricket match played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Adding some star power to the match were members of the UAE national cricket team, including Ahmed Raza, Zahoor Khan, and Chirag Suri, who participated along with invited guests and partners.
